I’m an actor, writer, and producer in film, television, and video games.
Early on, knowing the challenges that come along with acting, I decided to tilt luck my way by writing and producing my own projects so that I could cast myself in lead roles. This led to my first feature film, “Love/Hate” in which I co-wrote, co-produced, edited, and starred in. The comedy was nominated for Best Feature at Alberta’s Motion Picture Awards where the film was shot and also took home a few wins at festivals across Canada before being sold to air exclusively on SuperChannel.
With the experience from Love/Hate, I began working as a writer, editor and host for the Emmy winning team, EP Media (formerly Greedy Productions) for their television shows, “The Electric Playground” and “Reviews on the Run” — two daily programs about video games, movies, and television; obvious passions of mine in case you missed the first line of my bio.
During this time, I began to work on my second feature film, “HEEL KICK!” in which I co-produced, edited, story edited, and starred in. HEEL KICK! went on to be praised by both critics and audiences alike across North America during its select theatrical run, and even won Best Film at London’s Burning Hammer Film Festival. Fans have called it the best wrestling movie of all time. The film hit virtual storefronts in 2018 and during its pre-order window on iTunes, became the number 1 pre-ordered movie in North America, beating out the likes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Thor Ragnarok. This is something I try to sneak into every conversation on a constant basis.
Next up in 2022, came my first studio film in which I co-wrote and acted in. The movie, "Bullet Proof" stars Vinnie Jones and Lina Lecompte, which was picked up and distributed by Liongsgate, which was another milestone for me creatively as the film went to theatres, and sold both digitally and physically. Bullet Proof went on to become one of the most globally streamed movies of 2024, hitting number 1 in 18 countries, and #2 on Paramount+. A sequel was green-lit -- another milestone for me, and released in 2024, called "Get Fast" starring James Clayton and Lou Diamond Phillips, with interest in a third and final entry in the action series.
Taking what I learned from my job working at EP Media, I finally fulfilled a childhood dream and began developing my first video game, “Billy Saves the World”. I wrote, directed, and designed the game, as well as co-founded a studio in Vancouver to achieve this. It released November 26th, 2024 on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Critics and fans said, "It's An Adventure Worth Experiencing" and that it "Re-Defines A Genre".
Currently, in between auditioning for movies, I'm developing new film and video game projects as I build toward my ultimate goal to write and/or direct a movie based off of a video game IP.
